Marvel:Black Widow Finally Gets Her Movie scheduled for release in May 2020.

Black Widow 2019

Marvel is notoriously tight-lipped about its ever-expanding cinematic universe. But at the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con, stars and studio execs offered up a few tantalizing details about the Marvel’s upcoming projects  including a Black Widow movie starring Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff, the titular super-spy, and directed by Cate Shortland.

“It’s a remarkable, unique story,” Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige says of “Black Widow,” which is set after the events of 2016’s “Captain America: Civil War.” “People think they know everything there is to know about the Black Widow. I promise you they do not. We tapped into a period in her life that we’ve never explored before and how that affects her going forwa

“I don’t think I could have played this iteration of Natasha 10 years ago.” Johansson said during Marvel’s Hall H Comic-Con panel. “It would have been a very different film. I get to play Natasha as a fully realized woman and all of her many facets.”
Andy Park, Director of Visual Development at Marvel Studios, is responsible for the visual identity of much of the film universe, and is the best source around for illustrations related to the MCU. Now, he’s posted a new keyframe illustration from the Black Widow movie, featuring Natasha fighting a heavily armored villain with a shield identified as Taskmaster.
