YouTube hosted Toke Makinwa, Akah Nnani, Dimma Umeh & More of Nigeria’s Top Content Creators to a FUN Date Night

Recently YouTube Nigeria celebrated Valentine’s Day with the stars – Nigeria’s YouTube stars.

Since its inception in 2005, popular video-sharing platform YouTube has grown massively and alongside that growth has been the rise and rise of YouTube Creators, including in Nigeria.

From comedy to cooking, lifestyle to thoughts on life, Nigeria’s YouTubers showcase their passions and their talents to millions of devoted watchers every day. On 12 February, YouTube Nigeria decided to take the opportunity to spread the love in this month of love and hosted a dinner where a select group of media and influencers got to meet and engage some of Nigeria’s favorite Creators.

The evening started with passports and stamps being issued to media, influencers, and YouTubers. Media and influencers engaging Creators in meaningful conversation received a stamp for their passport in return. The guests with the most stamps in their passports at the end of the evening went home with cool Valentines boxes.

Drinks, dancing, and dinner ensured the night was enjoyed by everyone, and everyone got a box of goodies to take home so they could share the love a little further. Below we showcase some of the amazing Creators who were there.

American Musician Cardi B, has announced To ‘File For Nigerian Citizenship’ because of Tensions Between United States and Iran

The American Musician Belcalis Almanzar popularly known as Cardi B, has announced  that she would  file for her Nigerian citizenship’ because of tensions among the United States and Iran.

The United States on Friday claimed obligation for the airstrike that killed a pinnacle Iranian general, Qasem Soleimani, sparking tensions within the Middle East and elevating fears of a retaliatory attack on Americans.

Reacting to the event that has got many world leaders warning against a likely escalation of war within the Middle East, Cardi B condemned the action of the USA Government and criticised President Donald Trump for making this sort of decision.

She said, “Specially being from New York, it’s unhappy this man (Trump) is putting Americans’ lives in danger.

“Dumbest circulate Trump did until date (sic) … I’m submitting for my Nigerian citizenship.”

Cardi B was in Nigeria in December and had seeing that fallen in love with the country.
